It's the 1995 revised version and all 5 volumes (including dustjackets) are in almost Fine condition. It takes you from before the BBC existed, covers it's (THE BBC's) beginnings taking you through "Steam Radio" days, The War (1939- 1945), the introduction of Commercial Broadcasting in the 1950s and the new 5th volume covers TVs heyday in the 1960s and 1970s. An excellent set of books of interest to the academic and general reader alike.
