This book, 1st Edition, 1991, is one of the first monographs of any of these groups. All but one of the numerous colour illustrations are reproduced from original paintings by Henry Jones. The text is a comprehensive explanation of this diverse group of birds and is a wonderful addition to any ornithological collection. Both book and dustjacket are in very good plus condition, the dustjacket having a cellophane-like potector covering it.
