Review this product...

This is a personal biography of William Joyce (Lord Haw-Haw) by Irish journalist and writer Mary Kenny. Joyce was not a British subject yet was executed for treason. It's arguable there was no basis for his trial, but he was an anti-semite and would have been happy with a German victory. No doubt any Jews in Britain, had Hitler triumphed, would have got much the same treatment as elsewhere in occupied Europe and no doubt Joyce would have been happy about that, so we shouldn't shed too many tears for this man's inglorious end. The biography is definitive drawing on much new material from official archives and interviews with people who knew Joyce. It is well worth a read for any student of that period. The book is in almost new condition, 1st Edition, 2003.
